Elijah Turns One Year Old Today

Today we celebrated Eli's first birthday. We had a fun time with friends, and Eli enjoyed his very own cake. Enjoy this video, and more pictures from the day will follow.

Standing Tall and Proud

Eli has been practicing pulling himself up into a standing position quite a bit lately. He has become very good at it and can pull himself up in the blink of an eye. He is also quite accomplished at lowering himself back down into a sitting position - often in a controlled fashion, but sometimes with a bit of a "plunck".

Aloha

We were fortunate to be able to spend Christmas and New Years in Maui with Elijah's maternal Grandparents and Aunt. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed escaping the snow and cold of the Midwest for a few weeks. Here are a few photos from our trip.
